With the Jedi Order overextended, spread thin across the galaxy, each Jedi is alone, surrounded only by whatever clone troops he, she, or it commands. War itself pours darkness into the Force, deepening the cloud that limits Jedi perception. And the clones have no malice, no hatred, not the slightest ill intent that might give warning. They are only following orders.

You can't just throw Ren into the same situations. Aayla didn't know what was happening until the end, Mundi was equally confused as to what was going on. It's not everyday that the loyal troops you've been fighting with for years decide to turn on you with no warning.
Now Ren appears to be a powerful force user; I don't know if that necessarily means he has an ability to foresee future events like Yoda did.
Chewie getting him off guard could support such an argument but you could just as much argue that Ren was distracted, shocked, etc.
Combat wise, He hasn't demonstrated much to suggest that he's capable of taking on multiple blaster-wielding opponents in a circular formation at once.
He's no Pong Krell
