Great scene. KC Supes is really more like Supes should be.

Isn't that version of Superman actually dieing of radiation poisoning or cellular deterioration or something while he has that power?
Anyway, I think KC can take this one.

Yes. His punches also appeared to harm/injure a universal+ being(ie. Mobius), of whom had been steamrolling through everyone else w/o difficulty.
So long as Ultraman has a fresh k-nite amp here, I think he wins. What he did this past issue of JL was pretty retarded, tbh.

I'm sorry, that just looks like bad writing. Why the hell would UM be THAT powerful?

He more or less suckered Superman who was asking him to fight Mobius.
Superman was drawing blood from Mobius too.
What's more retarded that they did more damage than entire GL corps did.
That's ****ing retarded.

Really, writers don't give two hoots as to power level consistency. they might pay lip service to it (K-nite snorting, mind blocks etc), but on the whole, they've never allowed it to get in the way of a story/'badass scene'.

Superman drew a bit of blood, yeah.
But a.) Supes is substantially amped, and b.) Ultraman honestly looked like he was beating the shit out of Mobius:

...Then Mobius used anti-matter... Then game over.

I didn't mind it with Ultraman, tbh... It was a good send-off for him. Kind of like when Supergirl sacrificed herself to 'destroy' the original Anti-Monitor during COIE... It was just one last hurrah for the character. /shrug

Except he is not dead. He is shown on the cover of JL 50.

Yup sucker punch, I wouldn't put too much into that. Superman left himself open for that because of his position after punching Möbius.
Still want to see where Lex is at. Base level DS and HighFather or the multiversal DS that was going around and destroying universes.
Would have been crazy if superman had recieved the God of Strength and Darkseid amp instead of Luthor as it was intended.

Yeah, covers are often deceptive, so I wouldn't put much stock in that. As of now, all signs point to him being dead.
Regardless, I just want to see what Superwoman and Luthor's child is capable of. I bet that little f*cker will be powerful as hell... Especially with Johns at the helm.

I honestly have no clue. Whoever it ends up being--he/she will almost certainly change the dynamic of the entire battle.
