Luke did manage to resist a bit. He paused at a few points in the fight, most notably when he stopped attacking long enough to tell Jessica to "do what you gotta do", when she had the shotgun. Though very brief pauses was all he could manage, and Luke was an exception. Other than Jessica, who became totally immune for unexplained reasons, no one else could offer any kind of resistance to his commands.
I'd still go with Purple Man here. Even if Darhk can manage to put up the same level of resistance Luke Cage did (and that is a BIG if), it won't matter, as the commands will still win in the end (like they did with Luke). IMO, Purple Man ends up with a magical totem after this encounter.

I always thought she became immune due to the constant exposure. I guess they never said that though.
The only way Darhk wins here is if he knows about PM's power going in and quickly "force chokes" him or something similar so he can't speak. Otherwise he loses
That doesn't really work though because, right until after she kills Reva, she was still under his control. That's the whole reason she punched her. And then, right after, she was totally free, as she walked off despite Kilgrave commanding her to come back. And it's a virus, so the mental shock argument is out, not to mention Kilgrave made a bunch of other people do horrible things and it made no difference. Hope murdered her own parents, yet he retained control over her. Jessica just gained miraculous plot immunity for no real reason.

To be fair, plot shenanigans isn't exactly unknown for that show. Like the shotgun taking Luke out (because Jessica needed some way to KO him), when it basically contradicts all his other durability showings, plus the explanation given for his powers in his own show. Or Jessica being KO'd by a skinny ginger with a 2x4, and being unable to KO random thugs, during scenes where Kilgrave needed to get away, but taking a hit from a truck and only sustaining fairly minor injuries, and easily ragdolling regular humans, in other scenes. Or perfectly healing from a gunshot in like 2 days, without it even leaving a scar, but keeping a scar from a small knife cut behind her ear for months, because it was a plot conversation point between her and Kilgrave. And those are just some examples. I enjoyed that show, but they took some serious liberties with things whenever the plot required it.

Indeed. Luke vs Jess for instance. If she can take a minutes long beating from him, with several clean shots to the skull and be okay. How did the Gingersnap KO her?
Whoever strikes first. If Damien immediately goes for the choke and/or kill with TK, he wins. If Kilgrave manages to tell Darhk to do something, he wins.
