Don't know about makkari
But in terms of travel speed
Gladiator crossed galaxies in the blink of an eye
Surfer has traveled a light year in a second and caught up to someone there LYs away in a few panels
Runner is faster than surfer is iirc
They wouldn't need 10 seconds to catch something hundreds of times faster than light

Believe it or not, out of the characters you listed only Gladiator has done something QUANTIFIABLE on panel that makes me believe he could do it (assuming Abhi meant NO warping or teleportation).
In a recent Thanos mini, Thanos tped Gladiator 200 lightyears away and said he could cross that distance in 3.6 or so mins. A forum member worked that out to hundreds of times the speed of light.

That's not quite quantifiable.
It was 3.6 mins from when Thanos spoke those words. There was an undisclosed period of time between the BFR and when he spoke.

Point taken, but it was STILL many times of times the speed of light. Let's be real here, some of the Annihilators were one or two shot so it's not like it was an epic long drawn out battle. I'll be generous and say it was 24 hours between the time Thanos put down the Annihilators and issued that statement. What does that work out to? 200 light years in 24 hours is still at least a few hundred times the speed of light no?

too true, sometimes I get caught up in semantics.

It's my fault really. It was pointed out to me before but it slipped my mind. As soon as I saw your reply I realized my mistake.
But I have a legit question now, can anyone calculate what 200 light years in 24 hours works out to in terms of X times the speed of light?

This is not travel speed in a straight line. quote: (post ) Originally posted by zopzop

By that logic GLs should be fastest but they aren't.

1 LY = 9.5 trillion KM
Time needed for light yo cover said distance is a year which = 8760 hrs
200 LYs = 1.892*10^15 KM
Time needed for light to cover said distance is 1,752,000 hours
To cover it in 24 hours
That's
1,752,000/24
73,000X faster than light
I think

Surfer's feat of attacking thanos who was a light year away can also be quantified by simply rounding off the time to a range of 1-5 seconds, depending on how you think thanos threw that punch
That's not his only light year in a a few secs feat too, makkari and runner,I can't really argue for them,

Ok so can anyone do a calculation on how that would relate to X times the speed of light?

There's an issue of Quasar which has Runner and Makkari moving at JUST under light speed. Makkari later hits light speed. I'm assuming this is their limit without warping/teleporting.

How many seconds go you want the surfer feat to be calculated on?

Whatever you think is a fair number of seconds.

Let's take the highest number in the range, 5 secs
At 1 second
It's 9.461*10^12 km/s
At 5 seconds,he would be going approximately 0.2 light years per second
Which is 1.892*10^12 Km/s or 1.892*10^15m/s
Light goes at 3*10^5 Km/s or 3*10^8m/s
That's 0.63067 * 10^7 times faster than light
Or 6.3 million times faster than light
