Stranger would win easy if this was to determine who kept their dignity. I mean, Watchers been Rulk'd, he's had his eye stolen, he's been the butt of countless jokes in universe..
Strangers worst days were probably under Ostrander. The writer had a thing for Madam Xanadu, and had her totally upstage him after Spectre ran wild (Eclipso plot, kicked out Jim Corrigan and replaced him with someone else.)
As for a fight... Kind of hard to say, given he doesn't normally fight.
Guess It really depends on the version of Stranger. Fallen Angel Stranger would win easily, I suppose.
