If there is any body of water nearby, Ocean Master can keep his distance and eventually drown thing. Thing punched around Doom in that pool in FF1, I'm guessing he can't swim too well, though. Can he drown?

If Orm brings it in close enough for Thing to grapple him, Orm is going to get crushed by a Thing bear-hug. Michael Chiklis' Ben Grimm was insanely durable and strong, and I imagine him saying something like, "what is that supposed to be, a toothpick?" if Orm tries to stab him.
