We don't know enough about Ferroda other then that he beat X1 and lost to X2 via a duel, saber vs force pike, according to the cancelled BF3 game audio.
Beating X1 is a relatively impressive feat considering before they were deployed, they were the ones in charge for training the entire army of clones that made up the majority of the republic army, which means it's likely some big names got trained by them.
Which is weird because X1 makes X2 look like a joke later on, on Dantooine.
Falon Grey might be a better fight but Aayla should still win solidly, I'd put X2 above Aayla though by a bit, not by much, but a reasonable amount.
