Steppenwolf vs Godzilla (2014)

Since Steppenwolf of DCEU has survived some hits from Superman, overpowered Aquaman who also took a beating from Superman without any ill effects & can even do this, couldn't he be able do anything against this Godzilla or to even hurt him?

Too much of a size difference IMO. Even if Steppenwolf completely embedded his axe head into Godzilla's flesh, it probably wouldn't even get all the way through the outer skin layer. It'd be like me trying to stab Giant-Man in the foot with a sword.
