If T'Challa has ANY cover, he utilizes the five D's of dodgeball and bounds his way to Cyclops, who promptly gets slashed, kicked, or punched to KO-land.
If it's an open field and Scotty 2 Hotty has any range, T'Challa can still tuck and roll his way to Scott for sure, but more times than not Scott hits him with a whammy of an optic blast. The thing is: does he have enough power output to put down BP? I've said it before and I'll say it again: if 203 KO T'Challa shows up, yes, Scott has the power, but if war rhino T'Challa shows up, I don't think Cyke can take him down without a lot of shots.
Not that, sir, but rather is the hit T'Challa took from the rhino + the distance he flew + the impact against that rock face > what Cyclops has/can dish out from his composite self? Because T'Challa was dazed, but got right back up to take down the Wakandan army and Killmonger and wasn't any worse for the wear.
^I do think that IF Cyclops can tag Panther with a hefty optic blast, that'll create an opening to where Scott can either continuously beam Panther or keep lighting him up with big blasts till T'Challa is incap'ed, yes sir.
Again, depends on the environment. The standard for a MvF battle that doesn't mention any specifics is a featureless flat plane in which both combatants start 10 meters (yards?) apart right?
You guys realize all Scott has to do is look at Panther and the beam will be impacting him almost as soon as the visor opens? His beams are faster than basically anything he's gone up against. It's a face laser.
Even T'Challa will have trouble with such a long range, fast hitting and easily spammable attack. Or he could just take the visor off.
^^^Cyclops, like Bane, hasn’t ever been all that great in the movies (easily taken down, his power often going out of control).
He really got short changed. Hopefully the MCU will get him to a level where he might win this fight. Right now, he loses.
You aren't kidding Riv, my fellow native Okie James Marsden, Tim Pocock, and Tye Sheridan all three got the shaft, though Sheridan was the best of the three in his portrayal.
