If you are using the latest version of Hyperion, then Hype wins, they may be equal in strength but Hype has too much versatility on his side, this would be like Herc fighting Superman.
Not at all, Hype has both atomic heat beam plus energy manip abilities, the mace is not going to be a factor here, Hype can easily separate Herc from the mace.
Totally agree. Even IF one decides that they are equal in strength, the other brings too much in terms of ‘additional’ capabilities.
It’s like two sport cars racing down a long winding road from city A to city B, but one of the sports cars is able to fly, move at speeds that are beyond that of any vehicle, and make cotton candy from its exhausts.
Anyway, even assuming equal strength, Hulk vs Superman ....I mean, Herc vs Hyperion is simply an unfair battle. A two dimensional character versus a three dimensional one, and while comics can easily have Herc devastate Hyperion (they can even write a comic where Jubilee defeats Thanos), we all know what SHOULD happen.
I completely agree, in comics writers can always throw you a curve, ignoring what's on paper and stepping outside of the realm of logic and common sense, in a comic Hercules may still be written to beat Hyperion, but in reality no way it should happen, writer's are prom to characters popularity.
