Honestly, even regular Thor could have defeated Kurse if he fought him smart. As long as Ragnarok Thor fights Kurse like he fought on the rainbow bridge then he should win.
Honestly I think it puts him at around Kurse level maybe a little higher. His real amp wasn't until his near death experience by Thanos.. Maybe that's what it takes to get a powerup for him? I also think if he fights like he did on the Bridge he could probably edge Kurse out 6/10.
I wouldn't call Hela fodder. And even if he did fight fodder, the way he fought them is still vastly superior to how he's fought fodder before (minus massive AOEs).
Kurse casually killed fodder the same way Thor did. You are misrepresenting what I said. The way he fought Hela had no impact on the fight. Kurse could be close to equal in strength as her for all we know based on how easily he pounded Thor. The way he handled Thor was even more devestating that Hela did, he didnt have any weapons, it was just his hands.
No, Kurse did not kill fodder the same way Thor did on that bridge. For example, Kurse has no long distance attacks. He also isn't capable of automatically attacking fodder behind him while he's also attacking someone in front of him the same way Thor did. He did not take on a group of fodder as big as the one that Thor did. I also don't recall Kurse being strong enough to destroy the Bifrost in a single hit.
I don't claim that Thor (or Hela) is as strong or stronger than Kurse. But let's not pretend that Kurse can do energy attacks, AOEs or long range attacks like Thor and Hela can.
Thor did not destroy the bridge with one blow either.
Kurse does not have long range attacks. But I don't think Thor will stay ranged the whole fight. He will fight at close range.
