Why would he not be able to deal with lazers anyway? Logan has been burnt to a crisp on multiple occasions.
Blaster bolts do far less damage than a modern day .50 Cal would. If somebody brought a Ma Deuce to a stormtrooper fight, the ground would be littered with white legs and arms and torsos
Logan's got plenty of showings against legit lasers -- dodging and even blocking them -- and his healing factor adapted and "evolved" to the point when it's capable of healing pretty much any energy burns.
Wolverine may not be faster than light (unless we use outliers, which don't make sense even for us, comic book nerds), but he's sure faster than Han's trigger finger.
That and I already mentioned how blaster bolts are much slower and how modern Wolverine can recover from such wounds easily.
Likely much slower, too... considering their on-screen speed.
