Drogon's fire had so much force behind it that his flame breath was obliterating solid stone and dragon fire in GoT is basically a magic attack shown by how easily Viserion destroyed the Wall. So yeah, like DarkSaint said, they just fly around and set NY on fire. The apes will have to either leave to an open area where they'll be vulnerable, or climb the buildings where they'll be vulnerable because the flames are destroying the buildings AND setting them on fire.(please log in to view the image)
