CA seems to be different version every time I see him. Didn't he get almost godlike at some point, all sorts of powers and could keep up with Flash or something? (I mean the mainstream version, not talking about Monarch or alternates). Wasn't really following the stories.

And wasn't there an issue where Mary Marvel beat the absolute crap out of Captain Atom in a brawl? I don't know if there were any special circumstances to that fight, but I'd think the more powerful iterations of WM could do ok against that version of CA.
