this is the horror forum. Since Wrong Turn was a studio film from Hollywood with mass distribution both to theaters and on dvd and we are horror movie fans in here, I don't think it would be going to far out on a limb for you to just go ahead and assume that 99% of the people in this forum have seen it.
what classifies it as "cool"?.......whatever it is that made it "cool" sure as hell didn't make it "good". This is probably the worst horror movie since like....Valentine or I Know What You Did Last Summer.
I didnt think WT was as bad as some folks make out... some genuine notes of suspense in there considering it was just another generic teens-in-backwoods-peril movie.
I duno, I thought Wrong Turn was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It wasn't scary in the least, or even creepy. I only watched it cause I watch every horror movie. I'm waiting for that one movie that will scare the crap out of me, so far no horror movie has successfully done the job.

Whooowhowhow! Can't you quit trowing turds at eachother now?
Come on, ones admiration for a movie is personal taste, don't offend people for that. And if you want to 'adjust' ones opinion, gently point out movies that are better and advise those. Don't go all like 'waaaa, that sucks, you suck' and flipping birds all over the site. Damn, I sound like a admin...
Wrong Turn, and Cabin Fever ain't classicks (not to mention the high rip-off factor), and sure, much horror movies are much better. Still they kept me entertained enough to sit them out and I never regret seeing them.
For those 'new horror fans', filter out the crap the oldies trow at you and do go see the movies they talk about...
