Palpantine's appearance.....
anyone notice in ep. 5, when addressing vader about having a new enemy, that palpantine was all swollen, as if he had just gone thru 12 rounds with mike tyson? in the rest of his appearances he is normal looking.....whats up with that?

guess the hollogram "lies" a bit about his look, and the fact that GL might have second ideas about what he should look like too, but I cling to the first one since it is a probable excuse

probably Lucas made the shot and in ROTJ he thought about changing the appearance totally
(cause a woman with chimps-eyes can't be a emperor?)

Lucas can hide behind the fact that the view we had of the Emp in ESB was a hologram and we never really got a clear picture of the emperor as we did in ROTJ
