Dave Matthews first screen appearance?
Has anybody heard about some movie that Dave Matthews is acting in? "Winn-Dixie," I think it's called? I wonder what the movie is about? What kind of character would someone like Dave Matthews play? Is this his first screen appearance? Any idea, speculations, etc?

Dave Matthews and Winn-Dixie
Curiously, in "Because of Winn-Dixie," Matthews plays a soft-spoken, pet-store manager with a prison record, but who is serious-minded man that finds a release from life's trouble playing music.:
Here's an interesting quote from Matthews on the film:
"It's kind of a quiet, calm story in an environment nowadays that's filled with fast editing and high volume ... There's not too much moral pounding over the head, but there are things in it that are beautiful lessons about not judging people and that lonliness isn't necessarily uncommon. It deals with things that a lot of kids are afraid of. Kids want to belong. It's the most natural thing in world."
