skin was an experimental metal alloy almost as strong as adamantium..... it could also be transformed to and from liquid so that it could flow over his suit....... Ultron wanted it and beat the crap out of Iron Man to get it

the sentient armour was one of the most sophisticated armours tony had ever designed , then one day it started speaking to him........ eventually he realised it was alive and was thinking about destroying it as it was essentially a child with the fire power of a small country, the armour convinced him it wasn't bad so he wore it out, he encountered whiplash (long time IM bad guy) WL used whips (surprising i know) but each whip he had had a different type of effect..... enough to crack IM's armour and hurt Tony........ this time however IM was moving more fluidly than ever due to the armours living assisstance and WL couldn't land a single shot.......... unfortunately the armour recognised Whiplash as the person who had cracked it and caused it pain (before Tony realised it was alive) so the armour took over and bit*h slapped whiplash..... knocked all his teeth out and messed him up bad.... Tony had no control and pleaded the armour to stop...... it did...... momentarily...... then it decided Whiplash was a bad man and Tony's life would be easier without him in it......... and it killed him
this led, eventually to a battle between Tony and the IM armour (Tony used a slightly older model.... not THAT much older though) but the sentient armour ripped it to pieces
eventually the sentience was revealed as one of the older Ultron personalities, Ultron ended up with the armour and the S.K.I.N. tech
i actually don't remember what happened to Ultron after that............. lol...... anyone remember???
