thing take it imo, better fighter and stronger, clayface has only fought batman, thing has fought many superpowered foes including the hulk, he held his own.

In a fight with no contingencies? Clayface.
It always takes some random shit to take down Clayface.
I don't think Batman has ever taken Clayface in a fight, but always had to utilize something else just to stop or slow his plans.
In fact, I don't think anyone's ever beaten him in a straight up fight.
