My old VHS tapes.....

now that i have built up a sizable DVD collection, what should i do with my old VHS movies? what about my player?

i have the same problem ...... i keep them in a box in garage ....so one day i'll find them and go oh my i havent watched that in years

I have about 500 movies on VHS, but there is no way that I am giving them up or selling them.

I have replaced many of them with the DVD, ( namely the action/adventure/sci-Fi ones that have good special features ) but there are some that I just love watching and saves me money to watch that, instead of going out and buying it on DVD.

Um....Keep them and watch them. Just because everyone else has DVD's and you're stuck with some old VHS' doesnt mean it's wrong to watch them still. I bring out my old VHS' sometime and watch them. Im not dead... no expression
