Hey!
I was wondering...How far, do you think tenchnology, in the expanded universe should go?
I mean...should it bee possible to make a planetcrushing blaster? Or a "Death Star" with a lightsaber instead of a superlaser?

Well, things like the DArk Sabre and Centrepoint have been seen and used over and over.
Also, the Suncrusher was quiet a small craft for the feats it was able to perform I believe.

Did someone remove the post I made to this thread? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=" "> Maybe it never posted for some reason...
Anyways the point I made was that I believe that the Star Wars universe has reached an impass technology wise. They have been space faring for 25,000 years.
If there was an novel/comic set a further 25,000 after ANH the technology would be pretty much the same.

Oh, I hink there will always be improvements but nothing on the scale of discovering Hyperspace or the blaster.
There may well always be new and improved weapons but I think you're right, they've pretty much reached the limit of human imagination.

How about dusting this one off?
I don't think that the technology for anything become so outlandishly rediculous that you can't even suspend your disbelief any longer. Something that may occur with a Death Star with a lightsabre.

How about letting a dead thread rest in peace?
