Technically, there was never really a class 100 to begin with and that Hulk and others in the class 70 above have displayed absurdly more than what they're classed on. And we know how Thanos like to bitchsmack people in those levels.
If Optimus was an MU character in Tohotmu, i'd reckon he'd fit class 70 given the fact that he's a robot.
They're both class 100. Except Optimus is a fairly low one while Thanos is in billions tons level at least. Saying that, some of the Optimus' from the Japanese series could have a good go. Energon Prime's has planet moving feats, can travel faster than light and has survived planet busting attacks. To bad it was a terrible show.
All Prime is to Thanos is a stupid looking sentinel.

Prime may be in Thanos strength class but his durability is ass compared to Thanos....
Thunderwing possessed by the Matrix would have been a much better battle...then again it took Unicron to defeat him so I guess it wouldn't...
