Superman vs Superlex
ok here's the deal luthor has challanged superman to a 1 on 1 duel the stakes are if sups wins luthor will admit guilt to every wrongdoing he has ever done in his lifetime, and spend the rest of his life quietly in prison and give away his money and tech to the JLA, and if luthor wins the JLA will dissband and superman will be stripped of his powers and banished from earth forever, there will be no rematch and ablsolutly NO outside help of any kind any violation of this is an automatic loss for that party. Sups has 1 day to prep, and he DOES accept the challange
here's the catch, years prior to issuing this challange to sups luthor had begun a prosses of geneticlly rebuilding his body to endow himself with superpowers, and spend 2 years in training mastering his powers and sparring with the likes of bizzaro, darksied and black adam. superman is totally unaware of this when the fight begins
here is a rundown of superlex's powers and abilities and level of control
class 100+ strenght/durability easily on par with superman at non sundiped levels
teleportation: luthor has such control over this ablility that he can teleport himself inside of another person causing them to explode
mental flash: luthor can create a bright stunning flash with his eyes capable of putting anyone who was within eye contact of his eyes and the flash under a trance like state where lex can create illusions in thier minds that can fool all 5 senses for example if you were looking at lex and he was looking in your direction and you see a flash at that point on you would be under his spell you could be totally convinced you were beating him to a bloody stump but in reality he would be right behind you getting ready for a killer blow
enrergy absorbsion/manipulation: le's new cellualr structure has been designed to constantly absorb ambiant radiation and eneriges on all wavelengths and frequences, his body then processes the energy he's absorbed and turns it into useful power for his blast/mental flash and so forth, he is also able to use this extra enengryto augment his strength when not useing his engergy based attacks most of this power goes to boosting his strenght at a rate of about 60 tons an hour. Lex has such great contorl over his energies that he can create powerful shields on anyfrequency or wavelenght that he desires also able to produce energy blast of desiered types (he can make blast of red solar energy incase people in a energy filter filtering out yellow sunlight so on and so on) lastly his energy absorbsion provides him with virtuallly unlimited endurance ans stamina.
luthor cannot breath in space however his energy ablilities can sustain him in space for a limited amount of time roughly 90 mins
oh yes let's not forget super speed as well travel and combat speeds also on par with superman
superman is allowed to sundip if need be to the max amount his body can handle
.... spite thread. you say that he can specifically create red sun waves.
ie. lets have lex luther fight a puppy.... how does the puppy do.

No way does superman win. In this scenario Lex is everything superman is... except no hearing, sighting, lazer vision... but lex has mental teleportation... energy manipulation/absorption... and can create red sunlight... just for the hell of it... hell he can make any frequency of energy...
that means he'll create a mix between red solar energy and kryptonite...

not really a spite thread he has that skill of control but he still has to connect with it the blasty still need sto hit superman to hurt him, also he has to understand the frequencey and wavelenght fo the energies in order to produce it, i just said what he was capable of not if he can do it or not the idea just came to me what if superman suddenly found himself up against a lex luthor designed to be an upgaraded version of himself

oh forgot one thing the mental flash that lex can give off wears off after about 10 mins but during that time he can mentally project any perfect illusion he wants, as the 10 minute time limit growes near the illusions become weaker and weaker

what if i reduce luthor's training prep time with his powers to 1 month... feburary, his powers are still capable of that degree of versitility but he's had less time to practice
