Thought we could use a Eragon thread in the movie section as its coming out pretty soon and there is only a thread in the book area here
Big budget CGI heavy fantasy movie with Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich amongst others. Lead part by a new actor Edward Spleers. Based on a book written by a 15 year old. It is shaping up to be a trilogy. Or as FOX would have it 'The Next Great Fantasy' which is just setting it up for a massive fall. Is it the next LOTR? etc etc
I'm looking forward to it as I am a fan of the books but the jury is very much still out on whether it will be a good movie.
