Vash the Stampede
Have any of you ever watched Trigun? It's a Japanese anime series and it's HILARIOUS!! The main character, Vash, is a complete klutz - not unlike Jar Jar - and he dresses like a combination of Josey Wales and Edward Scissorhands.  He goes about pulling off all kinds of zany antics throughout ever episode, obliviously saving the day through dumb luck. He seems to be a socially-inept dork, which makes him even funnier as a hero - sort of like a 'Revenge of the Nerds' type of character crossed with Looney Toons, heavy on the slapstick just the way I like it.
