Jaspers gets wrecked. Kubik, Hyperstorm, & Prime? Plus everyone else?
Shoot that team could feasibly take out Celestials.

Jaspers kills them all.
Then he kills the much-vaunted celestials.

Jaspers is so overrated.
I'm not sure he could kill Hyperstorm -- he seemed to have a much more impressive grasp on his powers than that nut Jaspers.
To be honest -- I'd say overall Hyperstorm > Jaspers. Hyperstorm (while technically not a reality warper) could do almost anything being able to control all of the 4 basic forces in the universe.

I don't know about that friend,
Jaspers created a Universe and became said Universe.
Jasper's creation (the FURY) survived a Celestial Nullification blast, (it erases Universes)
Jaspers, left unchecked, would have Warped the entire Omni-verse.

I disagree.

I wasn't aware he was Omniversal. Dang, that actually makes me hate the character more.
No flavor-of-the-month villainous mutant should become that powerful without any reason other than that being his mutant ability or whatnot.
On the other hand, I found Hyperstorm rather interesting. Shame he wasn't used much

I have to make sure it's clear though,
Jaspers wasn't able to erase the Omni-verse on a whim, but a Universe at a time, eventually taking out the entire Omni-verse.
His power was increasing all the time though, so perhaps in due time he would have been able to Warp the Omni-verse in one shot.

I agree, but it is what it is.

You should check out the Jaspers Warp Arc, it's actually a really good read, Alan Moore is one of the best Writers in my opinion, he created the story and characters of the Watchmen. (Dr Manhattan and company)

Jim completely WARPED the 238 Universe
Merlin says, "I stretched your sanity to the breaking point to prepare you for a Universe (238) Reduced to Idiocy" (the Omniversal Tribune Erased 238)
(please log in to view the image)
Merlin says about Cap. Britain, "I sent you to a LESSER menace (Jaspers 238) and you were Killed"
"A LESSER menace" (Jim Jaspers of the 238 Universe)
This "LESSER menace" Warped the entire 238 Universe, and Jim Jaspers of the 616 Universe is even MORE powerful, so go figure.
Japers was an OMNI-VERSAL Threat

"Merlin says, "You cannot fail, this version of Japers (616) is too powerful, too dangerous"

They had to destroy the entire 238 Universe in order to kill 238 Jaspers,
but 616 Jaspers is "NOT so easily contained, and IF HE's NOT STOPPED, the OMNI-VERSE will FALL into Chaos, and a NEW GOD shall play dice with Matter"
continues in the nest post...

plus that his energy is unlimited won't burn out like his father franklin did. i consider hyperstorm the most powerful mutant ever

Hyperstorm is the only one here who poses a threat, but he got his ass handed to him by galactus and became his energy supply=owned.

No Abstract can resist a universal death?
Oblivion and Entropy can, hell that's pretty much their natural habitat.

hyperstorm fell victim to bad writing, being one with hyperspace should put him on a level above galan. but they had to find a way to defeat hyperstorm and used galan which is so lame.

My bad, I should have been more specific.
Your right, I wasn't considering Oblivion, but Entropy may be vulnerable to nullification.
Remember Universal "death" and Universal "nullification" are two completely different things.
When a Universe is nullified, all of it's Abstracts become non-existent, including Entropy which is what happens when a Universe dies.
Oblivion on the other hand is untouchable.

Hilarious,
but in all fairness that was in 1985, Oblivion has been retconned since then.
Still funny to watch a teenage Iceman defeating an Abstract, even back in the days.
