The Keep
I was never sure if it was Sci Fi or Horror one things for sure if you haven't seen it you should. It's not very frightening, it's dated, but it's plot is far more unusual than the average horror fare and as such it was quite groundbreaking!
It also has a fantastic Tangerine Dream Soundtrack!!

Wikipedia got me interested, I watched the whole of this movie this morning...it was ok, but I didn't think the ending was all that great. Overall it was an ok movie.

This is the only, truly bad film of Michael Mann's career.
The short running time is a clear sign of a butchered studio cut. After a promising start, it begins to nosedive 1/3 of the way through. And Tangerine Dream's techno-score was too jarring for a period piece; Mann would use a more traditional score for his next period film, THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS.
A good Michael Mann film with Tangerine Dream music is THIEF. It still works today.
