Both are due this up coming May and both will be good and do good in the box office. Which one do you think will best the other and by how much, do you think.

Ok so I'm a major POTC fan and that may be the reason for my choice but this movie is the most anticipated movie of the YEAR!!!
That'll be it's advantage! THAT and the fact that it has a solid fandom.
Spidy will be really good! I personally will not go and see it cause I'll be too busy watching AWE everyday but it'll be good. but with the cast AWE has and with all the locations, CGI work and anticipation *cough* Sparrabeth *cough* we'll be sure to have ATLEAST a slight advantage.

Me and someone else had this conversation yesterday actully. He said Spiderman was gonna be the biggest, and i said pirates. We asked someone else and they said pirates. Yep Pirates won in our conversation..
i dunno...I watched 7 MINUTES of Spidey and it seemed to kicked much ass....if only there were 7 MINUTES of POTC so i could make a better judgment *cusses out disney*

to tell you the truth, POTC is the ONLY action film where i haven't got bored of the fight scenes....I dunno, theres just something about them that has me on edge...
I mean, i was bored during THE MATRIX, and look how much CGI they had!!
but thats just me...
Spidey dusnt entertain me really...besides the fact that he runs around in a red jump-suit, and wears a creepy mask...I just don't find it all that appealing...

I love Pirates so Much...and i actually like Spidy Man too...i own both Spidy 1 and 2 as well.....But my love for Pirates goes much Depper (hehe) than Spidy, so even though i Know Spidy will be a great movie....I want Pirates to do better...so i have decided im not gonna go watch Spidy Man opening day or opening weekend or opening week....i will watch it until Pirates 3 has come out with Bigger Box office numbers! when i know in me watchin Spidyman 3 will not Hurt Pirates!! thats just me!

Honestly, I am going to see both movies but i do think that pots 3 is going to kick spiderman 3 in the box office....and over 50% of that $$$$$ is going to be comming from the girls on this forum including me!!
