this would be an awesome match. apocalypse has no minions or plans or prep (not that they ever help him anyway), and neither does nimrod. id love to see this fight, they can both alter themselves to suit their opponent so theyd keep countering eachother. their both genius level or above in intelligence. nimrod is the ultimate mutant hunter and apocalypse is one of the most powerful mutants that has ever existed. going by his hype apocalypse is a physical force to rival anything on earth and has the brains to never have to rely on power to get the job done. so if apocalypse had just revived from injury and went off to devise a way to kill the x men and found himself alone, out in the open confronted by nimrod how would this go down?
Apocalypse siphon's the juice outta Nimrod with those nifty Celestial forearm armbands/gauntlets, remember how Apoc was siphoning the juice outta nate grey stryfe etc. Alternatively Apoc uses the T-O virus in his system to cyberpathically shut down Nimrod's circuitry. like a well known character with Righteous fury and T-O tissue did to Nimrod at Camp Hayden in X-force 36
Nimrod disintegrates "those nifty Celestial forearm armbands/gauntlets", and then proceeds to come up with, if he already hasn't come up with, the perfect way to defeat Mr. Lypse.
