It was all off panel, also, maybe I'm taking the scan out of context, but the panel said that the X-men showed up and then Colossus smashed Abomination's face in. That implies to me that Colossus just got the final hit in when Abomination was being attacked by all the X-men. Does anyone have the complete context for the scan?
It depends on how Abomination is portrayed in the upcoming comics.
However, World War Hulk indicated that Colossus was now powerful enough to take one a 'classic' Hulk. Whether this is true or not is unknown, but it was the opinion of Hulk himself.
Thusly, saying that Colossus couldn't take on a 'Classic-Hulk level foe' only because said foe was able to hang with the old Hulk is asinine when there is reason to believe that Colossus could also hang with the old Hulk.
To be honest, it sounds to me like the X-men all attacked Abomination and Colossus just finished him. I mean, that incident doesn't seem to be very good evidence for anything.
I think this fight will be pretty close, I'm not sure who has the edge here.
