Jean Grey vs. John Murdoch

This is a telekinetic battle only. Jean Grey from the movies (no comic book, all-powerful Phoenix Force) vs. John Murdoch from Dark City. Battle takes place in a city. Who wins?

Jean Grey was the all-powerful Phoenix force in the movies.

She'd win this hands down.

GOD Dark city was crap. I see Jean Grey, aka Phoenix, winning this one. She seems to have more raw power.

Not really. She was just far and away the most powerful mutant in the movies. She wasn't the cosmic entity that could erase timelines and spark big bangs.

Celestial, aren't you using the version of Jean Grey before she turned Phoenix?

Not too many impressive feats on her part in X1 and before the end of X2, when her "Phoenix" powers were surfacing.

If this is X3 Jean then she stomps.

I think he meant she won't have Phoenix's Godlike powers of beating the shit out of Galactus, and holding entire timelines in the palm of your hand.

Exactly. I'm using the Phoenix from X3. I just want her to be restricted to what we saw in the movie, not what she's done in the comic.

No, the version from X3. Just not the version from the comic.

Well, its kinda one-sided since its a "telekinetic-only" battle.

Murdoch, I believe, also had reality-warping powers in Dark City, which were probably comparable to Scarlet Witch's powers (He completely reshapes the "city" at the end). And thats saying something.

He creates a sun, and reshapes the whole "world" (city). Thats kind of on par with what Scarlet Witch does. Scarlet Witch has a much longer history, obviously she has had some better feats, but you know what I mean... hopefully.

well even in the movie she disintegrated dozens of people with just a thought.

Phoenix takes it hands down.

I give this one to Murdoch...from what I can remember he fought the leader in a telekenetic battle and won.

The Jean Grey from X3 wasn't ANYWHERE near powerful as the Phoenix in the comics. Yes, she had power, but not even close to the Phoenix which is in Cosmic power level.
