Script help?
First off, I apologize if this isn't the appropriate forum to ask this question in.
Anyway, I need help with formatting a movie script. I have a basic plot/synopsis for this movie written down, but I'm not sure how to transfer that into an actual script.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Best advice i can give is to buy a few scripts or search them online ( you can find any script online for free) and maybe invest in a book on script writing. Just study the scripts and the rest is trial and error. Afterwards, if your confident enough in your script find an editor or someone to proof read it. There are several different ways to write a script but they are all easy. Writing a script is very different than writing a novel as you don't have to have a unique syntax and the structuring isn't as involved.

This book is fantastic, it's not on just scriptwriting though, but part of it is:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guerilla-Fi...4621&sr=1-2
I don't know about that edition, but I got the edition six years ago and it came with a disc for the computer with some script writing software on.

Also in you local area look for writing rooms or screenwriting work shops. They help a lot and is cheaper than school.
This link was helpful for me, you might want to try it. It has good info on it.
