Skynet sends two machines back to ensure termination of Norman and Harry Osborn. The Terminators are disguised as a lovely couple when the two supervillains come across them in NYC on a sunny afternoon. The supervillains are unaware that the assassin couple are infact machines sent from the future. The terminators are not updated on the abilities of there targets. No prep. Who takes it?
Combatants
*T-X (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) - Glock 17
*T-800 Prototype Model 101 (Terminator Salvation) - MLG M32 6-shot grenade launcher and dual MP5's.
vs
*Green Goblin (Spiderman) - Standard Equipment
*New Goblin (Spiderman 3) - Standard Equipment
Things to Consider
*Team 2 has the obvious advantage of flight in a city full of buildings and skyscrapers.
*The T-800 protoype is considerably superior to the past timeline's T-800 model due to study of the T-850 sent back in time in T3. So don't just think of T1-T3 feats. The new T-800 in T4 is pretty raw.
*Opponents can use there enviorment surroundings to there advantage.
*Don't forget about T-X's morphing abilities.
AS afar as your *sigh*, where is your movie proof that the T-800 in T4 is far superior to the T-800 in T1 or T2? If so, how much superior? It tossed Conner around and moved slow, nothing overtly impressive than what the T-800 in T1 and T2 did. The T-850 in T3 has more impressive feats.
Goblins are a physical match to Spider-man; Spider-man has stronger strength feats than the Terminators.
You are using the argument of that Goblin is able to hang near Spider-Man so he's automatically stronger than the Terminators.
DDM made a good point in the other thread in arguing that Spider-Man was bloodlusted while hitting Ock b/c he knew he was a muderer and Aunt May was at risk. Spider-Man didn't even hurt Ock real bad. Just knocked him around. Nothing that kept him down real long.
Terminators on the other hand have punched through human being on three occasions. I know for a fact that Green Goblin is stronger because one one feat. However, is has he shown he's strong enough to shred a Terminator? No in my opinion. Terminators have superior durability, stamina, and fighting skills/tactics.
He did "hang near" Spider-man, when they fought/grappled, it was close. He also had no trouble casually holding the cable-trolly full of people with just one hand.
He wasn't "blood lusted", as he's not a murderer. That is pure nonsensical speculation, considering what we know. If he was "blood lusted", he wouldn't have been cracking his typical jokes towards Ock, now would he.
The one time he was what we could call "blood lusted", was when he went aggro on Harry, in SM3.
T-800 got crushed by a small press, if it was that strong and durable, it would have just pushed back and destroyed it. Was also damaged by being hit by a truck.
Regardless. Movie Spider-man didn't believe in lethal force(at least against humans). "With great power comes great responibility" and all that jazz. So no he wasn't going for the kill. Also while its never stated out right considering some of the tumbles Doc Ock took. With out significant damage. He is most likely tougher then your average person.
Have you seen Terminator Salvation? That's the T-800 we are using here. It was made more in the power of the T-850 which stopped a huge press-like wall descending in it's tracks, held it up with one arm while fighting off the T-X. In TS the T-800 launched a locked inch/'s thick steel door like it was nothing with one punch.
The prototype T-800 of the present timeline is alot stronger and more durable than the model shown in T1/T2.
