in most apearences cable has the technoorganic virus which requires a great deal of his powers in order not to consume him. when he was released from the virus he could channel all his powers as he wished which enabled him to fight the likes of Surfer.
I don't really know his current state but if he has the virus which he usually has I think he goes down

I would think Faith is *quite* a bit more powerful than any version of Cable except God Cable.

There's virus Cable, no-virus full power god Cable, there's tech substitute powers Cable (who is really quite strong but IMO still not a match for Faith), then there's current Cable who's had his powers not only suppressed by the virus but pretty much burned out entirely.
