He became eternity when he had the infinity gauntlet...

And the cosmic egg let's him beat post retcon molecule man, the celestial nullified and the ultimate... But he loses everywhere else...

Since magus believed that the cubes would stop the ultimate nullifier... I also think it would work on the celestial... And prerercon was much more powerful than post...

Actually Thanos became the Eternity of one universe when he had the CCU. Or *for all intents and purposes* he was.
