Supreme (the version that is shown) if he belived himself so, could not be beat. (sorta like Gladiator and his confidence issues)

Supreme could also evolve new powers/abilities on the fly.

Depends on if Supreme is baseline near PC supes. If not then he might get blitzed before new powers kick in.
Starting from baseline though PC supes 7/10. Starting from close levels supreme takes it 9/10.

Going with the original over the copy.
Although Morrison's run was really good.

I've only read the Morrison version, but hear the pre Morrison one is like an entirely different character.
Basically, Supreme under Morrison IS Superman, in all but name. His entire run was a homage to Superman from all eras.
I'd recommend it. Has a real All Star Superman vibe to it.
Also you get to see Jack Kirby as an abstract, complete with cigar.

Night and day difference.

Morrison's Supreme was good, but it doesn't even come close to All-Star Superman, imo.

¬¬ Maybe that's why I confused ALAN MOORE's work on Supreme with something Morrison did.
Yeah, Morrison did All Star Superman, and Moore did Supreme, and in this case Morrison's work is the better one.
But Moore's work on Supreme is still really good.

I knew that didn't sound right.

I love how Moore completely ignored all previous continuity when he took over the character, bluntly informing the character's creator that the comic "wasn't very good at all".
