I don't know about the first but with the Godwave Ares is beyond skyfather, so he'd win pretty easily.
Iirc in Genesis DS believed the godwave would allow him to reshape all of creation in his image. With that kind of power Surtur would be swept aside.

There's different levels of godwave, I don't think Ares got quite that much.

^The God Wave definitely fluctuates. The original wave as far as I can tell was the most powerful.
Surtur wins. The second fight depends on how much of the God Wave Ares has access to.
