Pre Crisis Mordru vs Pre Crisis Captain Marvel
Kind of inspired by the Zoom vs Odin thread.
Here's a riddle: Mordru fires a magic bolt at the Legion. While that bolt is traveling, Superman manages to head to a beach, fuse sand into a magic bubble, put the Legion members into the bubble, and help carry it into the time stream, just missing being hit by it.
So why can't he, or a character as fast as he, simply beat Mordru into submission?
Granted, he was also powerful enough to fight Glorith with Time Trappers powers to a draw, and Trapper's no joke..
