Cyttorak Colossus potential

This is a VS thread of
Piotr's ability to control himself vs his occasional fits of rage (like when he killed Riptide).

Will the Cyttorak gem embrace him and he it or will he displease it enough to depower himself back to normal?

I vote that there's just enough bloodthirsty Rasputin blood in him to make it work. (with the occasional lovey dovey scene with Kitty to balance it out).

Peter is no Cain. Cain was a bitter, jealous, and hateful man. He gave into Cytorrak and his power (sure later they tried rehabilitating his image but whatever).

It takes a lot to inspire homicidal rage in Peter and I see him fighting Cytorrak's influence to the point of Cytorrak getting annoyed with Peter and depowering him.

This I agree with. Why cytorrak would have chosen someone like Peter to be the avatar of destruction is sheer PIS. Why? Cause they recently had him calle the world breaker? Seriously? Guy is an active pacifist!

I mean seriously if you are gonna pick someone to be the avatar of destruction in marvel why not pick absorbing man or rhino? Someone that basically doesn't care what they wreck or who they hurt? Meh

Or even Illyana. It's not like she doesn't have experience being demonic.

illyana would have been a way cooler choice. a female juggernaut would have been a true departure from the character.

He didn't pick Peter.

Peter jumped in the way of Magik.

A sucky departure. There are just some things one shouldn't mess with.

And that's Juggernaut as a character of ultimate machismo.

cyttorak is an idiot really, he seems like he doesn't keep up on what his employee (yeah, just one) is doing.

colossus could probably get away with using the power to stop japanese whaling ships for decades before he feels any repercussions, and even then cyttorak could very well reinstate him a couple times like cain marko.

Cyttorak is no idiot, he has stated he doesn't care how his name is spread, either good or evil, its all the same to him, just so long as its spread.

Why would he care about Cain being destructive then? Because that suits Cain's nature better, and Cain can better spread the word of Cyttorak through destructive acts than he can as a hero. It's not like he completely depowered him most recently while he was on the Thunderbolts, just greatly.

616 Cain isn't his only herald either. There is only one Cyttorak, and multiple Juggernauts throughout the multiverse.

Wrong. He's the perfect choice. Makes for much better storylines.

Personally I hope he starts wrecking some marvel big shots (but we can't have that can we). Just for the hell if it.
