It would be interesting if the mutants ( bad guys and good guys ) from Xmen First Class are capable of beating the Twilight Vampires that have the special abilities like Edward able to read minds and Jane imposing the illusiion of pain. They kind of remind me of a Vampire mutant like abilities. Can the Mutants be able to defeat these special Vampires?
Would it be permissible to use the Volturi's from the novel? If so this is what I have
Aro-Tactile telepathy or when he makes physical contact with you he can read every thought you ever had.
Marcus-Relational Empathy he can sense relationships.
Jane-Illusion of pain.Just by looking at you Jane can make you feel pain.
Alec-Sensory paralysis or he can cut off all your sensors.Unlike Jane who can only focus on one person at a time, Alec's gift floats like a mist conquering all in his path.
Demetri- Sensory locating. He is a tracker he can track a person once he has the tenor of their mind.
Felix-Immense strength.
Renata- A protective shield that causes you too become confused and drift away from your target.
Chelsea-Relationship manipulation. She can cause vampires to become loyal or disloyal to mates, family or the volturi.
Didyme/deceased-The aura of happiness or she can make you feel happy.
Elazear-Joined another coven-Ability identification. He can sense an ability whether it is strong or not.

Yeah, thought about it, but there is no way he could alone. Someone will remove his helmet sooner or later and then he goes down to telepathic abilities.
I'm not sure if Xavier's ability would work, but if it does then he could solo. BUT, the version in First Class was significantly weaker so he probably couldn't control/attack all of them at once.
Oh really? I don't recall that scene, but I'd take your word for it.
The reason I didn't think he was that strong was because of that infiltration scene (think it was in Russia), where Xavier creates the illusion in the minds of the few guards that they were not in the truck, and he seemed relieved when it worked. If he was as powerful as his older self in the other films he wouldn't need to bother with that.
Also whenever he uses his powers to a greater extent, he seems to have to really focus and concentrate, and also with the finger to the head thing lol. His older version accomplishes much more with little to no effort.
I think his powers were reduced for a good reason though, besides him developing powers later on, it is also very hard for the plot if Xavier was at full power. I had a conversation with one of the actual writers from X2 (think it was Zak Penn), and we discussed why Xavier was always "out of action" in X1 (mind raped by machine/mystique), X2 (sleeping gas) (and later "killed" in X3) and the reason was because he is simply too powerful. Almost any problem could probably be taken care of by Xavier by using Cerebro, finding the problem-causing person and fixing it (aside from Magneto of course).
Also, Xavier has the abilty to blind human perception or manipulate their senses like he did to the Russian soldiers. I would think he can blind all the vampires but again, the vampires have hyper senses such as smell.
teleportation, telepathy, nearly indestructible diamond skin...,wait im going to stop because this is F*kin stupid and not even worth debating. X-men are in a different class than the sparkles. They are in the first class.
