The fanboys have it in their minds that just because Joker is Batman's enemy and Batman could take over the universe with "prep time" means that Frank doesn't stand a chance. Am I the only one who sees the Punisher killing Joker pretty quickly???
punisher waits for the joker who personally pulls jobs to muck about and stands in a tower with a high powered rifle and puts a bullet through his head. Next issue shows that it was a part of his brain that wasn't needed joker gets back up with a smoking hole in his head and the crazy starts flowing out. Punisher falls off the tower in shock.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Two different styles of prep and methods of executing them, though.
Batman is smarter than Punisher, but it's apples and oranges in a way. Batman's prep is designed around solving crimes usually (in terms of Gotham lvl Batman, not JLA Batman). Punisher's prep is centered around efficient military style strikes, but he can also infiltrate the criminal underworld if needbe.
Frank with one sided prep would absolutely murder Joker. With even prep, it really depends on the scenario and situation the two find themselves in.
