Shocked Wonder-Girl vs. the Hulk

No prep. No PIS/CIS. Bloodlust on.

Now, this is more of a hypothetical thread.

Due to a recent retcon, Cassie's Lasso of Lightening no longers channels her own rage. No, it now submits the ensnared to the fires of THEIR rage. The more rage they have, the more Zeus lightening they get.

Now since Hulk is the pinnacle of rage....how would the lasso affect Hulk?

The angrier he grows, the more rage lasso can use to use it back upon him. The lasso converts rage to Zeus Lightening.

Would Hulk be a victim of his own rage?

Something like this once happened with Leader. Hulk eventually over loaded the device.

I know magic is different but the lasso would just cause his strength and HF to keep amping. Either they would stalemate or WonderGirl would be hit by feedback.

WW #4.

Originally the lasso just used Cassie's anger to generate Zeus Lightening.

However Heinburg retconned the lasso so that it would generate Zeus Lightening from the captive's own rage.

The lasso was made by Ares. I wouldn't give it to much pause for it to "burn out".

The more rage in it's victims, the more powerful the lasso gets.

Well hulk get's his strenght from his anger.
I guess it won't stop building, and hitting him with lighting might even help boost his anger.

Which will boost the lasso. It's an on-going cycle.

TheLeader has tried the same sort of thing with tech (turn Hulk's strength against him directly) it didn't work.

Is it possible for the lasso to hit the user with feedback? If not Hulk's constantly amping HF will just keep him alive no matter how long he's there and how much energy he's being hit with.

The Leader event puts things in Hulk's favor.

The only time Cassie was hit with feedback was when she faced Supergirl....and somehow Supergirl managed to wield the lightening of Zeus and throw it back at her. Even though it was magic.

Right after she busted out of Raven's soul-self too.

sad

Wasn't that the same arc where she strangled MartianManhunter?

It's never been overloaded before. We don't even know if it's unbreakable. Ares just popped it out of nowhere...

no expression
