Zod's essentially an inferior Superman power and stats wise with better military tactics and experience (not that it would help him in this situation).

What showings and feats of Zod suggest that he's going to overpower Thanos or be untouchable by Thanos? Nothing I've seen from Last Son or the World of New Krypton/War of the Supermen put Zod on Thanos' level, let alone above it.
