Superboy Prime vs. Gog

Gog found Super Boy Prime and is aiming to kill him, like he did to the other supermen in the past.

Who wins here?

I think the only Gog that would be a good fight is Kingdom Gog. Any other Gog gets stomped, IMO.

Why wouldn't third world Gog be a good fight against SBP? Seems a pretty fair fight to me.

Never really impressed with him. What did he do? Get his head cut off and thrown into the Source Wall?

Well, there's also the fact that Thunderbolt couldn't stop him... whistle

Yeah, he was holding his own against a team of JSA which included Thunderbolt, KC Superman, Alan, Obsidian, PG etc...

Hell even his servant did well against JSA and Gog absorbed him like it was nothing.

He was also granting boons left and right and was regarded as being on the same level as Starbreaker and Onimar Synn.

He may be weaker than The Kingdom Gog, but he certainly wouldn't get stomped here imo.

Gog stomps then.

Despite Prime's haxx, he was still vulnerable to red sunlight -- and Gog's staff can generate that type of energy en gros:

Gog's first herald also went toe-to-toe with DotNG Infinity Man during their brief scuffle, and even forced him to retreat:

...Which is damned impressive, given the Source-amped power IM was packing at the time.

Even Gog's slightly weaker second herald(ie. David Reid/Magog) had strength on par with KC Superman, and his staff's energy output was on par with Alan Scott's green flame:

There are only 2 Versions of gog

This is either a stomp or spite

thumb up

Also iirc Alan at the time was in control of the full Starheart, so that statement is indeed impressive.

Yep.

By that point Alan had literally become pure Starheart energy, and had a direct link to the 'heart itself. Even after Grundy destroyed his Lantern/Battery outright(which left him completely powerless mind you), Alan's unique connection to the Starheart -in addition to his unparalleled willpower- enabled him to draw back in ALL of that energy, and recreate the Lantern ex nihilo... Despite it being scattered all over the world:

That is an extremely impressive showing, imo -- and keep in mind: his powers only continued evolving from there. So yeah, Magog's energy output being compared to Alan's speaks volumes. thumb up
