But hey, that looks like a competent female character (or a Lesbian). We could use a bit more of that in the universe (competent female characters), for sure.

I used to think that way, until I realized that Star Wars writers are incapable of writing plots that aren't rehashes of the OT and PT anyway.
If I see one more ****ing story about some "prodigy" Jedi who becomes disillusioned with the Jedi way and becomes a loser anti-hero or villain I'm going to puke.
All the best Star Wars stuff has nothing to do with force users or the force itself, like the Empire comic series. That shit was amazing.
I want to see some god damn Star Wars warporn.

Read the latest issue and still not really sure what to think about this series. It's alright but I don't think Brian Wood really has a good handle on the characters or the setting.
Pretty good latest issue, really like how they were switching through the different storylines and really interested in who that mysterious person Leia came across might be, have a feeling it'll be a Jedi we've come across.
