The Amalgam Brothers are back, and they're tired of the pansy-ass truce they agreed to following their last encounter. They agree to a set of single-combat rules. Each Brother (read: you) has the opportunity to choose a single combatant from the ranks of their respective company (listed below). That character then has the opportunity to augment their abilities with equipement also pulled from their universe. The losing combatant's universe is wiped out.
Beside each combatant and piece of equipment is a number. That number represents a points system. The total points allowed is 100, and the Brothers (you) are able to choose nearly any combination of combatant/equipment that falls within the allowable point limit (equal or less than 100).
Additional rules:
All DC characters are pre-DCnU
All characters fight with the knowledge that their universe will die if they fail. Thus they fight at the peak of their game, but CIS/PIS is still on.
Characters who have equipement standard keep their usual equipement. e.g. Thor starts with Mjolnir, and does not need to equip himself with it for an additional 25 points.
Equipment selection/use must be logical. E.g. Thor cannot weild Mjolnir, Cap's Shield, and Ares' Axe at the same time. That's 3-handed stupidness.
- 2 handed equipment can be used 1 handed with the results you would expect. e.g. Aquaman's Trident can be used with one hand, but not as effectively as with 2
Characters have 2 days to adjust to their new equipment.
Characters' real traits can affect their "prep" time. e.g. Superman in 2 days may gain greater skill with a GL ring than Orion would with the same 2 days
No use of superspeed/enchanced abilities to augment the 2 days time. e.g Superman may not increase his perception speed to make 2 days an eternity
Conditions:
Indestructible planet
No BFR
No time manipulation
No outside assistance
Fight to K/O
How to fight
You're competing against the poster above and below you. Say the person above chose a Marvel character, you must choose a DC character who you feel can beat the above Marvel for a majority. The poster below then chooses a Marvel character who can beat your DC character for a majority, and so on.
I'm well aware that this whole thing probably won't work very well. It's pretty ambitious, and I have to limit characters/equipment in some way. Chances are the point valuations are going to be off as well. Worst case this is dumb as shit. Second worse case it leads to something better.

out of curiosity since it's pre DCNu characters is the Aquaman Trident the one given him by poseiden after he saved him from Hades? If so it has vertually the same power level and versatility as Mjilnor for less than half the price.
