set at dusk so it's neither too dark for priest to see or too light that it would hurt Riddick's eyes if he were to remove his goggles.
Set up would be similar to the warehouse at the end of Raiders of the lost ark although smaller in size...Plenty high vantage points, high ceiling with cross beams to jump to...Quite enclosed.
I think that the enemies that Priest fights are on a strength and speed level a fair bit above the Necros but doesn't explicitly state that priest is stronger or faster than standard human...Just far more skilled...Although the scene where he kills the hive guardian shows his agility is more than Riddick displayed.
Riddick would do just fine against vampires, as shown by Dark Fury and Pitch Black. He also tangled with the Lord Marshal, and could perceive his super speed soul.
We're not debating whether he would do fine against the vampires though.
The priests turned the tide in a war in which humans threw entire armies at the vampires and were still losing.
Keep in mind that the vamps were able to tear a man to pieces in a split second as shown by the opening animation.
Priest also has agility way above Riddick's feats. To jump up from the hole where the vampire reservation is and land some 30 feet away and what he showed in taking down the hive guardian....Very impressive.
Granted we don't see as much hand to hand what we do see certainly shows that Riddick wouldn't easily brush him aside.
Riddick couldn't even stab Fry in the back; an alien had to do it for him. What hope does he have against someone actually trying to fight him?
