Selene Vs Plastic Man
Classic Selene, Pre52 Plas.
She hasnt got a prayer, IMO, but someone turned me onto the character, i'd like to see how she rates here.

Marvel Selene? She's a soul vampire. She drains his soul.

Can she, though? Thats my question. Other than that trick she's got nothing to take Plas out, and i think he may be resistant, taking in his make up and feats.

Barring soul suck, she's also a powerful telekinetic/pyrokinetic. She's also an elite telepath but that wont' help because Plastic Man is immune to TP.
So she could telekinetically hold PM in place then burn him.
PS, she's also an accomplished sorceress.
This is really her fight to lose.

Circe>>Selene, IMO. And Circe failed to transmute him fully.
Also, Plastic Man has some resistance to fire as was seen in the Fernus fight, IIRC.

If the soul suck doesn't work, and he gets a hold of her, she probably loses.
If she can keep her distance, her versatility might win...
I'd bet on Plas though.

Selene stomps.
She has a shadow form, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, transmutation, not to mention EXTREMELY potent magic.
But all of that is moot. She can simply life-drain him in the blink of an eye.

Transmutation doesn't work on Plastic Man. She better conjure a powerful spell or she'll get clobbered.

Well thats one of Plas' major durability feats, as he bounced back from 3,000 years worth of what amounted to molecular disruption.

The Obsidian Age storyline. JLA 74 (i think).
Found this regarding the incident, hyping Plas...
quote: Unlike other stretchy heroes (eg.elongated man or MR.Fantastic) plastic mans pliability is not subject to the same restrictions of shapeshifting as others becoz he has no respiretory systems, circulatory systems or organs and so he does not bleed or seem to feel pain at all. Even though at times he over dramatises his injuries, the mere fact that he can shift into complex machines with working parts (eg a car, a room with furniture, animals...etc) shows he can easily take a hit. Because he has no brain he is not subject to psychic attacks and he is also immune to high speeds, punctures, corrosives and laser blasts. He can however be stunned in the way of a suprise attack that can catch him off guard however his abilities prevent any real harm to him. The bast example i can give is in the "JLA: Obsidian Age" Arc in which he went back in time got turned to stone smashed into little pieces and spent the next 3000 years as little more than crumbs at the bottom of the sea. Although incapacitated once the JLA found enough pieces of him he was able to start his regeneration process. Despite the fact that he complained about a three thousand year old itch he couldnt scratch and a song he couldnt get out of his particle sized crumb for a head it was clear to everyone behind his goofy smile and goggles was one of the most powerful beings in the JLA.

IIRC, he was suffocating Rama Khan, after Rama had taken out Martian Manjobber. Then G turned him into stone after he had killed Rama.

I remember that arc as being very surreal. Beautiful art and some really wacko feats and shenanigans all around.

Selene can probably do what Gamanamnae did as well.
I mean, she's a strong sorceress in her own right.
I think she takes 7/10 for the KO.

I dont see her as being on Circe's or Gamannae's level from what i researched.
