Vindician is eqquiped with an old rakatta/sith Force shield generator....
I've made an topic that explain the particularity of this costume that's what allow him to take a rocket right in the face..
You know how a personal shield work? And how it's look like? Have you played JKA?

He had decent barrier showings, you're right. But Malgus could probably wear down Barriss.

P.S Vindican have 2 belts a golden one and a dark one the shield is on the Dark one below the golden belet... In ToR cinematic Revan have a shield generator on the golden belt ...
