Killing someone isn't a prerequisite for winning. If Invictus were to beat the ever-loving shit out of Marv for hours on end, that would be more than enough to constitute a forum win.
alright. I know absolutely nothing about invictus, so would you mind telling me his feats. Does he have an energy projection advantage, a speed adavantage, etc?
I mentioned his feats above. When he was within close range of his Orrery/vessel/power source, he stomped a fairly uber team of Lanterns(inc. Kyle, Arkillo, Byss, etc.) + Larfleeze + Sayd(a Guardian.) He was also a planet-buster. Very powerful.
But as I mentioned above: if BFR is allowed, then the dynamics could change. Invictus' power is entirely dependent on his proximity to the Orrery. The further away from it he gets, the more depowered he becomes.
And just a quick note: Invictus created the Orrery from scratch, using his own power(an absolutely gargantuan feat.) He poured so much of his energy into its creation, in fact, that it also doubled as his primary power source.
That's why Invictus' powers are at their peak when he is near the Orrery, and why they wane when he is taken out of range from it.
